‘Darcey And Stacey’ Season 2 Episode 8 Recap- September 6
This season has been a rollercoaster for Darcey and Stacey. Darcey is still trying to figure out if she can trust her fiance, Georgi. He has hidden a lot from her and a meeting with his ex-wife has still left her questioning his sincerity. Her twin, Stacey is hopeful she can give her husband, Florian a baby naturally. Yet, at 46, this may not be a viable option. They have now left their troubles and men behind in America for Turkey so they can get makeovers. Their lives are also currently under construction. Silva’s father, Mike has just listed the Connecticut home they reside in for sale. If there is a Season 3, the girls may finally have to live in their own pricey pad. Now onto Turkey.
Darcey and Stacey Take On Turkey
The twins have arrived in Turkey but Darcey has a lot on her mind. She and Georgi did not leave off in the best place yet she does not want to burden Stacey with that. This trip is about sisterly bonding and new bodies. It will start with them renting a villa for a few days so they can get new veneers. After that, they will move onto Instabul for their full-body renovations. The villa is gorgeous with great energy but it has a cat and Stacey is horribly allergic so Darcey must will it outside.
Florian calls to check in on Stacey and she shows him around. Sadly, Darcey is not getting the same love from Georgi. She reminds herself this trip is about becoming the best version of herself and it does not include a man. This trip could make or break the engagement. Back in America, Florian goes to play soccer with Georgi as he wants answers. He knows something happened between the two and does not like how Georgi treats his sister-in-law. In his confessional, Georgi admits he is worried about Darcey going under anesthesia.
He lost his grandma under anesthesia when she had complications from cancer surgery. She passed and never got to say goodbye. He admits how he and Darcey parted at the airport was his bad. However, he does not like how she treats him and the distrust she has. Georgi brings up Darcey reaching out to his ex-wife and questions if he should reach out to her exes. Florian thinks this is a very bad idea and hurtful.
New Teeth Time
It is the first morning in Turkey. Over breakfast, Darcey finally admits to Stacey how Georgi has been gaslighting her. Stacey says her sister is innocent yet Darcey admits she reached out to his ex again who told her to leave him. Stacey feels he puts her down to make her feel like he is the best she will ever get. Now, Stacey feels bad she’s been hiding trying to have a baby from her sister. But it just has not been the right time since they’ve always liked being pregnant together.
Oh well, it is time to go to the dentist. The twins revisit their history with teeth. Stacey had braces in her twenties while Darcey got veneers after she had one of her daughters. She could only afford six when she started and they were not great. Stacey is convinced she got them with a coupon. Darcey has done her teeth twice before and settled- not this time. Stacey’s biggest fear is having her teeth shaved down. Darcey says it’s no big deal. They are having so much fun with the anesthesia and temporaries. It’s a good time all-around.
The Men Of Darcey and Stacey
Darcey and Stacey are at their villa talking about their men. Stacey is talking about all the things Florian did for her to help prep for the trip. He even helped her shave. Darcey wishes Georgi stepped up more. She is starting to think she should give him one more chance but how many are too many? Stacey goes to talk to Florian as her blood work from the gynecologist is about to come back. She is very worried because of the cyst and such. Florian tells her to just relax and be stress-free.
He wants her to be calm because she has a major surgery coming up. Stacey wants him to be more serious and this is when she could use her sister. As for Georgi, he misses Darcey but still cannot get over her contacting his ex. So, he is about to open Pandora’s Box and call someone from Darcey’s past. Hi Jesse. Darcey was with him for two seasons of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days before she moved on with Tom.
Jesse shares Darcey did contact his exes, as well. It is a pattern with her and admits she dated both him and Tom at the same time. Jesse claims Darcey played both of them and Georgi is trying to wrap his head around all of this. He thinks Jesse is full of it and won’t believe it. Jesse is trying to get Georgi out of the relationship. Georgi thinks this was a mistake in the end.
Next week, Stacey attempts to open up to her sisters and gets the results of her tests. At the same time, Georgi undergoes Botox for the sake of his relationship. Watch Darcey and Stacey Monday nights on TLC.
