Would The D’Amelio Sisters Compete On ‘DWTS’ If They Were Invited?
Dancing With The Stars is always looking for clever ways to draw in newer audience members. Securing talent popular with members of Gen Z could really help. Younger people really love the D’Amelio sisters, making them an excellent choice for DWTS producers. But would Dixie and Charli ever appear on the show if ABC invited them?
It’s no secret that judge Derek Hough would love to have them on the show.
“I think it’d be really cool to see one of the D’Amelio sisters on there,” the former pro said in an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life. “Charli’s a really talented dancer and she’s obviously crushing it in the content, TikTok world. I think she would be really good. I think she’d be awesome!”
But what do Dixie and Charli think? They recently opened up to ET about the possibility.
The D’Amelio sisters apparently aren’t the only dancers in the family
The girls’ father joked that one of the sisters should compete on the show with their mother. According to the family, the girls’ mother dances too.
“I think we could go on together, that would be so cute,” Charli said.
In case you’re not overly familiar with the D’Amelio sisters, Charli rose to TikTok fame in the last few years. Her older sister Dixie is pursuing a music career. Both sisters have pretty large followings, especially among younger people.
“I would make fun of her a lot for it, because that was embarrassing to have your little sister posting cringey videos on the internet,” Dixie remembered. “She hit a million followers, and I was like, ‘Well, hold on. You just got a brand deal? What is going on?'”

What can we expect to see from DWTS Season 30?
We don’t have a full cast list yet. For example, it’s entirely possible the D’Amelio sisters are on the roster and are keeping it a secret for now. But Dancing With The Stars already confirmed several names that will appear on the show this year.
Reality TV show favorites like Bachelor Matt James will appear alongside Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and Olympian Suni Lee. It’s likely we’ll hear about more names as we get closer to the premiere date.
