Recently, Adam Busby shares two photos on Instagram about his early morning routine. The first picture shows his iPad, his Bible, and the furry noggin of Gus. It looks like Buzz is studying something in Corinthians. The next photo is a selfie of Adam in a plush, hooded robe snuggling one of the family’s dogs, Gus.
In the caption, the quints’ dad shares that Gus thinks that he’s up early for him. However, Buzz is just trying to “have a few quiet moments with Jesus.” Consequently, fans are happy to see this. One of them writes, “I love seeing it bro! This encourages me more than you know.”
Adam Busby answers a fan question about his parents
While this post encourages Adam’s followers, one of them has a concern. The fan wants to know how the OutDaughtered star’s parents are doing in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This is of concern because of Hurricane Ida. Luckily, the TLC star doesn’t keep his fans in suspense. He responds to let them know, “lake charles barely got a little rain. The storm hit the east side of Louisiana.”
Notably, the fan’s cause for concern isn’t unwarranted. Hurricane Ida made landfall on the Gulf Coast on August 29th. This is 16 years to the day that Hurricane Katrina did, reports AccuWeather. This likely brings up a lot of emotion for people that went through Katrina.
Where did Hurricane Ida cause damage?
As the dad of six mentions, Hurricane Ida went to the east of Louisiana. Lake Charles, where Adam Busby’s parents live, is in Southwest Louisiana. That’s not to say that Louisana went unscathed. The strong east and northeast parts of the hurricane’s circulation caused a lot of damage in New Orleans and the surrounding areas.
