Nathan Bates (Medic Corps, Hurricane relief)

Nathan Bates and the rest of the Medic Corps team are being deployed in response to Hurricane Ida. The Medic Corps is a non-profit organization that several of the Bates boys, as well as some of the Duggars, are a part of. The organization is sent in to help with different natural disasters, including earthquakes, tornados, and hurricanes.

As we’ve reported, the Bates and Duggars went with the Medic Corps to help with earthquake recovery in Haiti. Before getting a full break after helping with that disaster, they’re heading back out to assist with Hurricane Ida recovery.

Nathan Bates shares Medic Corps update about Hurricane Ida.

On social media on Sunday, both Nathan and the Medic Corps shared a new post about Hurricane Ida. Nathan shared a couple of photos along with an important message. The Bringing Up Bates star wrote:

“Just getting home on Friday from a rescue mission to Haiti and we’re back out again with @mediccorps deployed to hurricane Ida with helicopter, rescue boats, swift water rescue crews, and skid-steer! Pray as we do our best to make a difference in the largest storm in history to hit the Louisiana shore!”

The Medic Corps shared a similar update about their hurricane relief plan.

It’s unclear who all is going to help with Hurricane Ida recovery efforts. In his post, Nathan tagged Lawson Bates, John and Abbie Duggar, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth, Trace Bates, and a few other members of the team. He didn’t specifically say that they are all heading out, so he may be tagging them just because they are a part of the organization and have helped in the past.

In response, Bringing Up Bates fans are sending encouraging words to the whole team. They hope that everyone stays safe while they’re on their way to the Gulf. Many fans are offering their prayers to the team. While the organization was helping in Haiti, they posted pictures and updates. So, fans can expect more news from the team in the near future.

So, are you glad to see that Nathan Bates and the rest of the Medic Corps team are heading out to help with Hurricane Ida? Have you seen the work they have done before? Let us know in the comments below.
