‘Counting On’ Star Jana Duggar Shuts Down Engagement Rumors
Counting On star Jana Duggar wants to set the record straight about her rumored engagement to Stephen Wissmann. For months, the oldest Duggar daughter has been rumored to be courting Stephen, and there have been hints that they are already planning a wedding. Jana even freshened up her hair this week, which could have been done in preparation for her wedding.
But the Duggars are keeping quiet. The past couple of relationships in the family have flown under the radar. While there were rumors about Jedidiah Duggar marrying Katey Nakatsu, the Duggars didn’t confirm the relationship or engagement. They only shared a post after the couple tied the knot.
Now, a new photo has been posted, and it seems to silence some of the rumors about Jana’s relationship status. This might mean she’s not actually engaged to Stephen.

On Jana’s friend Laura DeMasie’s Instagram stories, there’s a photo of Jana at the airport. The two women are currently in Las Vegas to go to a market together. Surprisingly, in the photo, Jana’s left hand is totally visible. And she’s clearly not wearing a ring in the picture.
This might mean that Jana isn’t actually engaged to Stephen, despite all of the rumors saying she is. They could be courting and just not engaged quite yet.
There are plenty of reasons that Jana could still be engaged and just isn’t wearing her ring. She may have left it at home while traveling so she wouldn’t lose it or damage it. It’s also possible she doesn’t wear it in pictures because she’s not ready to announce her engagement yet. So, she could have just taken it off for the photo.
Counting On fans hope to find out soon whether Jana is in a relationship with Stephen and if they will tie the knot soon. It seems possible that they could get married this fall, as several signs point toward a fall wedding. But we won’t know for sure until it’s confirmed by the Duggar family themselves.
In the meantime, fans are keeping an eye out for more hints about Jana’s rumored relationship. They’re hopeful that the oldest Duggar daughter will find love soon.
