Lisa Rinna Gets Inspired By Queen Bey As She Grows Her Beauty Empire

Lisa Rinna is owning the beauty industry with her cosmetics brand. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is seeking inspiration from Beyonce as her empire grows. In November 2020, she launched Rinna Beauty to the masses. She’s discussed the project on this season of the hit Bravo series.

Fans know that Rinna has several alter egos on the show. So, it comes as no surprise that she would come up with many for her lipsticks. In a new interview with InStyle, Rinna revealed how she came up with the latest name, Sasha. Did she seek inspiration from Queen Bey herself?

The television personality admits that she wasn’t thinking of Beyonce at the time. As Queen Bey fans know, the singer has an album called Sasha Fierce, which is Beyonce’s alter ego. Lisa Rinna claims it was just a coincidence. She loves how it turned out that way.

“I didn’t even think of that, but I love it,” she told InStyle. “Now that you say it, there’s a nice correlation.”

On Wednesday, August 25, Rinna Beauty premiered Sasha, which is the latest shade in their Lip Icon Collection. The lip kit comes with the “Dirty Talk” lipstick, “Shake It” lip gloss, and “After Party” lip liner, which is all in a burgundy shade. Rinna revealed that she’s just “starting to wear darker colors.” However, she’s the type who normally wears nude shades.

Like most, she’s afraid to wear a darker color that clashes with her skin tone. Rinna says the new kit “is just one of those gorgeous universal colors for every skin tone.” It’s also the perfect shade to wear into the fall. Rinna is hoping to expand her beauty empire with a wig line inspired by some of her most personal hairpieces.

Lisa Rinna says she wants to go full throttle with her beauty line. There are no limits. She also wants to release her own nail polish collection. Last week, Rinna revealed that her husband Harry Hamlin gets acrylic nails so he can play his guitar without a pick. Her shocking confession could become her next inspiration.

“He’s not mad,” Rinna said. “He is proud of his nails because he likes to play his guitar the way he likes to play his guitar. If I come out with a nail line, I will certainly call a nail color Harry Hamlin’s nails.”

She has since turned 58, but she was 57 when she launched the line. She also sought inspiration from reality stars like Kylie Jenner and Savannah Chrisley and decided to branch out into beauty. Some would say Rinna is too old or that the industry is too crowded. But nothing stops Rinna from doing anything she wants.

In a previous interview with Allure, the soap star said the business decision was a long time coming. She wants to expand her beauty empire into a lifestyle brand. Rinna wanted to start with lip kits since she’s known for her lips and that’s what she wears. The reason why it took her so long is that she’s “very, very picky about the texture and feel” of most lip products.
