Many LPBW fans naturally had questions about Isabel’s pregnancy, so they left plenty of those questions for her in the question box. One fan asked about her placenta plans.

They wrote, “Are you going to encapsulate your placenta?” In response, she wrote, “I plan to. But I really love the idea of planting it with a tree.”

For those who may not know, after the placenta is delivered following the baby’s birth, it can be encapsulated.

According to What to Expect, “Placenta encapsulation is a process where a whole placenta is transformed into pills that can be taken postpartum. It’s one of a few different ways to eat the placenta, but it’s by far the most popular. In fact, 70 to 80 percent of moms who eat their placentas opt for encapsulation.”

The pills are rich in vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and iron, as well as reproductive hormones. This is thought to help people recover during the postpartum phase. So, it looks like Isabel is planning on giving it a try after she gives birth to her first baby.
