Carlin Bates’ Social Media Silence Concerns Fans: Is Everything OK?
Bringing Up Bates fans recently had a little bit of a scare when Carlin Stewart stopped posting on social media. The Bates daughter is typically very active on social media, but she hasn’t posted to her main Instagram feed for nearly a week. She also wasn’t uploading new stories on Instagram, which isn’t normal for her.
Fans naturally got a little bit concerned, since Carlin didn’t say she wouldn’t be on social media. They began wondering if something happened and were worried about Carlin and her husband Evan Stewart, as well as their one-year-old daughter Layla.
Carlin’s latest post showed off her new hair extensions, which she got while her best friend Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth was in town.
Fans will recall that Carlin’s daughter Layla has had some health issues in the past, so some feared that she could be sick again. Plenty of different concerns crossed fans’ minds.
Carlin Bates offers an explanation.
On Wednesday, Carlin posted on her Instagram stories to let her followers know what was going on. She showed some of the messages she had received from concerned fans while she was away. Many of them said they were worried about her and her family, and they wanted to get a “daily dose of Layla Rae.” Others said they were praying for Carlin and her family since she was being so quiet on social media.
Fortunately, it looks like everything is okay. On her Instagram stories, Carlin revealed that she decided to take a little break to “regroup.” But she points out that she forgot to mention that to fans before she went offline. So, she understands why fans were concerned.
Though she hasn’t posted anything on her main Instagram feed, the Bringing Up Bates star shared part of her day with fans via her Instagram stories. She, Evan, and Layla walked to their local farmer’s market. The young mom wrote, “The whole gang is here,” as the little family enjoyed some quality time together.
It looks like all is well with Carlin, Evan, and Layla, so fans don’t need to worry. Carlin seems to be back on social media for good.
