‘Love After Lockup’: Jeff Used Anissa, Begs For New Teeth And Wants Gucci
Viewers were skeptical about Jeff Wombles from the moment he popped up on Love After Lockup. His track record with his girlfriend, Anissa Lewis did not bode well for him. Barely out of prison and the halfway house, Jeff not only has secrets but demands. He has no money but he does have secrets. Now, the forty-year-old has dreams of high-end fashion. Additionally, he is looking to improve his appearance so he’s taken to GoFundMe for assistance. Is it worth it?
Jeff and Anissa’s Troubled Love After Lockup Past and Present
Anissa and Jeff have been dating for eleven years. He was in prison the entire time so they had a real relationship. The two times he was released during these eleven years, he was supposed to go straight to Anissa’s. Unfortunately, he stood her up both times. Friends started to question his existence and Anissa’s sanity. She did not care what anyone thought, even going wedding dress shopping.
The third time was going to be a charm as she awaited her Prince Charming at the bus station. She brought along her best friend, Kyle for moral support. Jeff did not get off the bus and it was a complete letdown once again. He appeared around the corner and it was a race to the halfway house. However, Jeff admitted to the camera his reasons for standing her up twice prior.
He had no intentions of ever meeting Anissa. She was an ATM for him as he would take her money for drugs. This last time, he got to know her and fell in love. Once he was in the halfway house, Anissa still provided him with clothing and extra money. When he finally got to come to stay with her, Jeff shared a big secret with Anissa’s bestie, Kyle. He has an eighteen-year-old son he just confirmed was his. Yet, he has not told Anissa. Between secrets and a shady past, Jeff has a lot of high aspirations for himself.
Gucci and Some New Teeth
At one point, Jeff noted he wants to get a good job and buy himself some Gucci. Viewers were baffled by his desire for high-class dress when he has other things to work on. Most noticeably his smile. Twitter has gone crazy, mocking Jeff’s teeth or lack thereof. One tweeter had this to say: “Jeff’s teeth!!! OMG” Another followed up with: “Jeff has like a total of 7 teeth.”
Love or hate him, the cruel words finally caught up to Jeff. So much so, he started a GoFundMe entitled “Please help me fix my teeth (I’m embarrassed).” In the description, he explains he lost his teeth not just to drug use but during police altercations. He claims the memes that stemmed from his appearance on Love After Lockup has put his confidence at a new low. Furthermore, his teeth are rather painful.
