Viewers first came to know Alla on the debut season of the hit WEtv series. She had been incarcerated for five years for selling heroin. Luckily, she had her boyfriend, James Cristia waiting for her. The two met via a pen-pal service and quickly connected. It looked extremely promising for the duo. Unfortunately, the relationship quickly headed downhill.

Alla relapsed which caused a lot of drama and arguments between the couple. However, there was some hope when she entered a rehab program for three months. Sadly, she went back to prison for violating her parole. However, she and James had a very he-said/she-said relationship. Yet, he stuck by her side through it all and was determined to be there in the end.

Shortly after her release, Alla was arrested again. Fans and followers wondered what it meant for the couple but James felt the two were extremely connected. Up until the middle of last year, he was still trying to make it work with Alla. At the same time, Alla had been arrested again but had just been released last month.

Alla’s Cause of Death

Sadly, Alla’s life ended too soon. According to Starcasm, addiction is what took her life. Her mother, Yelena broke the news via Facebook, in a lengthy post: “Sadly, addiction won today. My beloved daughter, Alla passed away earlier today. I’m beyond saddened by this and hoping she is in a better place. Addiction is an ugly disease and my daughter had been battling addiction for many years. Rest In Peace my forever daughter. We love you Allochka and always will remember you Forever.”

Finally, the funeral will be held Thursday and will be open to friends and the public after the family. Friends commented on Yelena’s posting. One said this: “Yelena…My heart hurts for you and I know the struggles she tried very hard to overcome. My love, prayers, and hugs to you and her family.” Another added: “Alla was a beautiful person and I will miss her every day.”

Above all, the general consensus is how beautiful and amazing Alla was. It is horrible how her story had to end. Hopefully, she is now at peace and no longer suffering. New episodes of Love After Lockup air Fridays on WEtv.
