Here’s Why Jinger Vuolo’s New Profile Picture Has Everyone Freaking Out
Former Counting On star Jinger Duggar Vuolo debuted a new profile picture on social media, and it’s captured everyone’s attention. What does the photo look like, and what is everyone saying about it?
As we reported last week, Jinger got a haircut and wanted to show off her major transformation on social media. She previously had long hair with blonde balayage. After a recent trip to the salon, she debuted a short haircut that’s now brown and closer to her natural hair color. She shared before and after photos, and fans think her hair looks much healthier now.

Since Jinger has a new haircut and color, she wanted to update her profile picture on Instagram. So, she used a selfie that she took for her husband Jeremy Vuolo. He previously posted the photo on his Instagram page, along with a message asking his wife for more selfies.

In the comments section of Jeremy’s photo of Jinger, a few fans shared their thoughts. While everyone adores Jinger’s new haircut, some fans can’t help but mention that it looks familiar. One user writes, “Twins in the shining movie❤️” A couple of Jeremy’s other followers chime in to agree.
Over on Reddit, Duggar family snarks are chatting about how the photo looks “scary.” They think Jinger should have used a better photo to show off her new haircut. Someone else adds, “Can’t decide if she’s the twins or more of a preppy Wednesday Adams.” Another user says, “That scary one reminds me of when our Moms and Aunts used to actually iron their hair with an actual iron.” Yet another critic writes, “If she’s going for the ‘Twins from The Shining’ look, she nailed it.”
Other users think she could use more volume or ditch the hair clip to make her new haircut more flattering. They think it looked better right when she got home from the salon.
Of course, it’s possible that Jinger doesn’t know what The Shining is. Growing up, her family didn’t watch many shows or movies.
