Duggar Family Allegedly Splits & Stops Communication Over Josh’s Arrest
As Counting On fans can imagine, Josh Duggar’s arrest has caused a lot of drama and tension for the rest of the family. Currently, Josh is staying with his guardians, the Rebers. He will go to trial in his child sexual abuse material case in November. In the meantime, he must abide by a set of conditions, such as staying away from minors that aren’t his own children.
Overall, the Duggar family has been pretty quiet for the past few months. Shortly after Josh’s arrest, several members of the family released statements. But aside from that, they have been posting very little on social media. So, we don’t really know what’s going on.
Since the arrest, several sources have shared about what’s really happening behind the scenes. One said that Anna Duggar is spending a lot of time at the Rebers’ home with Josh. Another said that Anna is feuding with the rest of the Duggar family. Now, another source is sharing more details about the family’s relationships amid the arrest.
Duggar family divided over Josh’s arrest
A source revealed some insight with Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball. In a new video, Katie shared some details with Duggar family followers. According to a source, some of the Duggar family members have cut off communication with each other. The source reveals that Anna is no longer welcome at Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s home due to the divide.
There is allegedly zero communication between certain members of the family. The source claims that this is due to the secrecy and lies in the family. The kids allegedly felt that there were too many lies surrounding Josh’s arrest and investigations. Katie refers to it as a “breaking point,” explaining that this is why the family is splitting over his arrest.
Also in the video, Katie points out that Jim Bob has allegedly tried to cover up Josh’s mistakes and claims that he’s trying to do the same thing this time. Katie thinks that Jim Bob is attempting to keep the family’s name “marketable.” As fans know, TLC recently canceled Counting On in response to Josh’s arrest.
