Derek Hough Dishes On His Relationship With Hayley Erbert
Professional dancers Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert are seriously in love. The pair started dating in 2015 and now live together and have several pets. So what’s their secret to a life full of happiness and love?
According to Derek, the two balance each other out really well. He recently chatted with Us Weekly about their romance.
“Haley’s taught me a lot about relaxing,” the 36-year-old dancer said. “About just sitting down and relaxing and enjoying the moment.”

Few people are busier than Derek Hough. World Of Dance may be over for good, but Derek will be back on Dancing With The Stars this fall. He plans to return to his seat behind the judges’ table.
“I’m always going to go, go, go, go, personally,” Derek told Us Weekly. “Like, let’s do this. Let’s do that. Let’s do this, and I’m still like that. But, it’s a good balance. We have a great balance with that.”
Even though they’re both incredibly busy, Hayley and Derek really seem to have a lot of fun together.
So what’s on the horizon for the couple?
Since Dancing With The Stars Season 29 wrapped up, Derek Hough and Haley Erbert have still been incredibly busy. They both appeared on ABC’s Holiday singalong special last year. And throughout 2021, they’ve produced new content for their YouTube channel and even gone on a few remarkable trips.

Many fans speculate that Derek and Hayley may get engaged soon, but no one is sure exactly when. Plenty of fans really thought Derek would propose during Season 29, but that didn’t happen. During the season, fans did get to see the two perform an amazing Paso Doble. Derek received an Emmy nomination for choreographing the routine.
If COVID-19 restrictions ease up a little, DWTS fans might be able to see something grand and spectacular for Season 30. The ensemble may return, and perhaps even the live audience. But only time will tell. If restrictions don’t get better, then we still may be able to see another great performance by Derek and Hayley.
