Todd Chrisley Issues Statement On Lindsie & Will’s Divorce
Reporters have been knocking on Todd Chrisley’s door for a statement since news of Lindsie and Will Campbell’s divorce broke. Todd admits he’s no different than anyone else. He had no idea there were issues with his daughter’s marriage. And, he learned about the divorce the same way everyone else did. On Instagram. Todd explained that it was news he went to sleep with. He prayed on it before doing to sleep. And, awoke to pray on it some more.
Todd Chrisley decided he did not want to speak to media outlets about his daughter Lindsie and Will’s divorce. He did not want his statement to get twisted to fit a headline that would make for good views. So, he decided to put his own statement out there. He would use his podcast to do it. He started by apologizing. He knows that he just promised to stop talking about Lindsie and Kyle on his podcast. But, this was important. He needed to get his statement out there.
Todd Chrisley gives a statement on Lindsie and Will’s divorce
Todd described it as a “very sad day.” Divorce is NOT something he would wish on anyone. Todd Chrisley knows what a divorce feels like. After all, Julie is his second wife. He saw what getting a divorce did to Lindsie and Kyle. He would hate to see that happen to Jackson.
Todd Chrisley also wanted to talk about Will. There are a lot of rumors floating around that he just doesn’t like Will. Lindsie Chrisley’s estranged father acknowledges that he has very limited knowledge. He doesn’t talk to his daughter. So, he only knows what he reads about online. But, Will was always a good provider for Lindsie and Jackson based on what he did know. Todd noted he was always very supportive and he was a good father.
The situation makes him sad for Jackson. But, he finds comfort in the fact that Jackson DOES have a relationship with Will’s parents. So, he hopes Jackson will continue to have a relationship with his father and his father’s parents. Todd Chrisley knows family is very important. Especially during this limited time. And, Will’s parents are the only family Jackson really has.
Todd promises to continue to pray for his daughter and his grandson during this sad and bad week.
