Chris Harrison Responds To Matt James, Rachael Kirkconnell Dating, Plus Is He Watching Katie?
Former Bachelor Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell caused some major drama in Bachelor Nation this year. In fact, Chris Harrison lost his gig as the host of the franchise over the ordeal. Now, Matt and Rachael are back together and loving life. Chris has remained quiet until this week. Now, he’s speaking out about Matt and Rachael’s relationship. Plus, he’s revealing if he’s still watching The Bachelorette or distancing himself from the franchise completely.
Chris Harrison reveals feelings towards Matt and Rachael
According to US Weekly, Chris Harrison has no bitter feelings towards Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell. In fact, Chris actually wishes them all the best. Until this week, Chris has remained silent since the scandal threatened his career and ultimately ended his job with the franchise. Now, he appears to be healing and moving on.
Chris said, “I wish everybody the best. I will say it’s been kind of nice to have, after 19 years, to have my Mondays back, including last night.” He continued, “You know what, I’m happy for them and I wish them all the best. I hope they’re in love and I hope they do great.”
Chris just celebrated his 50th birthday with his girlfriend Lauren Zima by his side. He also gave a shoutout to her for planning his epic party.
Is Chris Harrison done watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette?
Chris didn’t have a lot to say about whether or not he still supports the franchise. He was asked if he’s been watching Katie Thurston’s season of the show. Chris said, “I’ve been keeping up from afar, but I’m sure they’re doing great.”
He has also recently expressed his gratitude to fans for their support. He noted he misses them as much as they all miss him.
Matt and Rachael
New reports are out that Emmanuel Acho voiced that Matt and Rachael were never really apart. Remember, Acho hosted the special in place of Chris Harrison. He said on a podcast this week that Matt and Rachael actually left the After the Final Rose taping arm in arm. Acho noted he feels the only reason they were dishonest was because of the pressure Matt was feeling from the black community.
In the end, everyone is happy. Everyone is moving forward.
As for Katie Thurston, her ending is yet to be seen. Her finale will air in a few weeks. It looks like there is still a lot of drama to come for Katie on her journey to find love.
