Work hard, play hard. This is seemingly the mantra Jovi has grown to live by. But what does he do for work when he is not out exploring? As it turns out, he actually works on oil rigs. Yet, there is an underwater aspect to his profession. Is he some sort of diver, as well? According to his LinkedIn profile, Jovi’s technical job is listed as an ROV supervisor who works with robotics. Oceaneering.com gave the exact description of what the reality star does.

Essentially, he operates “highly technical equipment in a remote location (rig or vessel) under occasionally harsh environmental conditions. The crew executes tasks ranging from simple video monitoring to highly complex tooling interfacing and inspection.” This is actually a very dangerous position to hold. Hence, the pay is quite large.

However, it seems Jovi does much of the operational work from a computer on land. Luckily, his underwater adventures coincide with his passion for diving and the sea. Furthermore, by sticking with this profession, Jovi is ensuring a prosperous life for both him and his growing family. Now, he has some incredible photos to give quite the visual for all his followers to see.

Jovi’s Living Work Photo Album

In a fun Instagram post, Jovi opened up about why he chose his profession. He said he discovered his passion shortly after he turned eighteen. That was when he went on his first work trip out of the country. It changed his life and solidified what he wanted to do with his future. He has pictures with flame throwers, large turtles, underwater, and so much more.

In his eyes, it is clear he is enjoying every minute. Followers were quick to comment on the video he posted. One noted how fun it looked but added the danger aspect: “Would really love to hear more about your job I’m sure it is very dangerous if you were diving underwater working on stuff.” Another was extremely impressed he found his calling so young: “That was a very mature approach to your future at a young age. My son’s turning 28 at a standstill.”
