Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna is being named in a new lawsuit for $1.2 million. According to Reality Blurb, things could become rather grim financially for Rinna.

Lisa is facing a huge lawsuit over copyright infringement.  It seems that the financial and legal dramas are nowhere over for members of the RHOBH. Attorney Ronald Richards, who is also investigating Erika Jayne’s legal drama is now also going after Lisa Rinna.

Richards reveals Lisa’s current legal issues via Twitter stating his law firm will cover this case. ” I hope she knows about it as the papers were left with her assistant.” Lisa’s response is due on July 30, 2021. Richards added in a follow-up tweet stating, “We will provide further analysis after she appears in the action.”

Lisa Rinna Faces Trouble Over Instagram Posts

Richards also attaches the legal documents revealing a June 11, 2021 complaint filed against Rinna by Backgrid USA Inc., The company is accusing her of copyright infringement and demanding a jury trial. Backgrid claims that Rinna is violating federal law by infringing their copyrights to several photos on the reality star’s Instagram account.

By uploading the Rinna Photographs to the account, Rinna encourages her fans to ‘share’ the photographs. Thus, causing others to also willfully infringe and multiplying the harm to Backgrid.”

This news does not sound good for Rinna. It seems Lisa was first made aware of the infringement back in February.  If found guilty, Lisa Rinna could pay over $1.2 million in damages and legal fees. Lisa seems to be handling the news just fine and continues to dance her cares away.

“Just dancing in my heavily mortgaged house with my hot husband” she captioned her latest post

RHOBH Lawsuits Continue For Cast

The Real Housewives franchise, has seen numerous lawsuits throughout the years. Other Beverly Hills wives who also have legal issues include Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Vanderpump, and Erika Jayne. It is not known at this time if Lisa Rinna’s lawsuit will gain quite the same public engagement that Erika has. But, RHOBH‘s fans are well aware that Lisa thrives on attention, of any kind.

So far this season, Rinna’s storyline has been rather bland. Fans claim she is so thirsty for the limelight. Fans are making claims of Rinna using daughter Amelia’s relationship with Scott Disick as part of her story. Going even as far as namedropping Kris Jenner.

Time will tell how Lisa Rinna decides to handle her current legal drama and whether or not Bravo will bring it into Season 12. As for now, it is Erika Jayne who appears to be the focus for Season 11, and that has to be driving Lisa Rinna crazy.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
