As we reported, Jessa and Ben Seewald welcomed their fourth child to the world this week. The pair shared the exciting announcement in a YouTube video. But they were quick to clarify that the first video they shared is only part one of Jessa’s birth story. When they shared the video on Monday, they clarified that the birth story was “to be continued.”

On Tuesday, Jessa shared part two of her birth story, which revealed a few more details, including the baby’s gender and name. But some information was still missing. At the end of the video, she teases that this one is “to be continued” as well. So, there’s still more to come, including the kids meeting their new sibling.

Interestingly, Jessa’s first birth video, which was posted less than 24 hours ago, has gotten over 750,000 views. Most of her other videos get 50,000 to 100,000 views. Some videos have gotten more, such as the one where she found out her baby’s gender and the one where she discussed her birth plans. But the birth videos seem to be getting much more attention than the rest.

Is Jessa Seewald trying to get more views?

On Instagram, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball pointed out why Jessa might be posting her birth story in so many different parts. She writes, “Girl is gonna make that YouTube coin – cause she uploaded a video & there is no birth or delivery in the video – Jessa had her baby – but we know nothing.”

In response, one user writes, “I can’t blame her, make your money girl 💕” Someone else adds, “YOU GO JESSA, MAKE YOUR OWN MONEY, first step to freedom!!!”

With Counting On being canceled, it’s looking more and more likely that Jessa is using YouTube to bring in income for her family.

When people watch Jessa’s videos, she gets revenue from the ads shown throughout the video. So, the more people that watch Jessa’s videos, the more money she can make. Since few details were revealed in the first video, people came back to watch the second video. Now, fans are waiting for the third video. It should show Jessa and Ben’s kids coming to the hospital to meet their new baby sibling.

So, do you think Jessa Seewald is trying to maximize her income with more YouTube videos of her birth story? Or do you think she’s breaking up the posts for another reason? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
