Everyone loves a good romance story. But not all couples have a romcom meet-cute, happily-ever-after story. Zach and Tori Roloff will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first date soon. In a new interview, the LPBW stars reveal their romance got off to a rocky start.

Little People, Big World Stars Celebrate Wedding Anniversary Next Month

Viewers of Little People, Big World have watched the Roloff kids grow up before their very eyes. When the show debuted in 2006, Zach and his twin brother, Jeremy, were 15-years-old. Their sister Molly was 12 and Jacob Roloff was just 8-years-old.

Molly only appeared in the early seasons. In the last few years, both Jeremy and Jacob also left the show. That leaves Zach Roloff as the last Roloff child still appearing on the popular TLC show. His wife Tori, and their two kids, Jackson and Lilah, are also a huge part of LPBW.

In fact, Tori and Zach’s 2015 wedding was featured in Season 14. But it wasn’t an immediate spark for one-half of the couple.

Tori and Zach Reveal Rocky Start to Romance

Zach and Tori Roloff will celebrate six years of marital bliss next month. But their romance didn’t start off quite so easily. In addition to their wedding anniversary, 2021 marks 10 years since their very first date.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the couple spoke about the early days in their romance. According to Tori Roloff, she was more interested at first than her now-husband. She said that while she knew he was The One, it “took some convincing” on his part.

In his defense, Zach Roloff reveals that he had never been on a date before. His focus was on soccer. Now his focus is on his sweet little family.

How They Make it Work

Even if their romance started on a rocky path, their relationship has blossomed since then. They were expecting their third child this year, but sadly, Tori Roloff miscarried early in the pregnancy. Part of what keeps their marriage strong may also be what is getting them through the sad loss.

The couple mention “communication” and “reflection” as the secret to their strong relationship. Zach also notes that they share the same values. Watch the full interview with ET:

In August, the Roloff family will unite for another wedding. Amy Roloff will marry Chris Marek later this summer. She recently confirmed her choice of a wedding venue for the big event. TLC will likely film the wedding for either Season 23 or possibly a stand-alone wedding special. The network has yet to announce future plans for LPBW.

Will Zach and Tori be part of the show after this season?

Tune in to TLC on Tuesdays for more of Season 22 of Little People, Big World.

We were sad when Matt and Amy decided to separate, but have enjoyed the piece of the story that Chris and Karen are adding. We rejoice when you rejoice, and are sad when you are sad. God bless you all!
