Renovation Island YouTube

Renovation Island is back with a new season on HGTV tonight. If you are looking for information on this resort, you are in the right place. The first season of the show was all about fixing up their resort. Now in Season 3 of Renovation Island, it is time for them to open up. You can book a stay at their resort now. Yes, it is up and running.

Renovation Island Resort Details

This resort is located in South Andros Island. It is called Caerula Mar Club. It is gorgeous and their website shows everything at the resort. They even let you book a room right on their website. The rooms run around $400/night and they do seem to require a 3-night minimum stay. Most people traveling that far do not mind staying a few days. Flights are not something that you can set up on their site.

Season 1 of the show was all about Sarah and Bryan Baeumler getting their resort ready. Now, they are finally there. They spent $2 million on the falling apart property, but of course, had to put a lot more into it before it was ready for guests.

Preview Update

The preview for a new season of Renovation Island is out. In this preview, they are open, but still under construction. One other thing they are dealing with is the pandemic. They opened up their business, just as it was time for everything to get shut down. This was awful timing, but there was no way that when they bought the Renovation Island resort they knew this would happen.

Last year, Sarah was asked if she had any regrets about opening up this property. She explained her thoughts.

“When we started it looked like a Walking Dead set. It was originally built in the 1960s and had been sitting empty for a decade. The salt in the air had corroded everything land crabs were in the basement and kitchen, termites were everywhere in the hotel block and main building. It definitely had the beautiful location and lots of potential, but that’s about it. We definitely underestimated the challenges. But most people work 51 weeks a year so they can spend one week in paradise. We’re here every day!”

Season 3 of Renovation Island starts airing on June 20, 2021, on HGTV. Do not miss new episodes and watching the Baeumler family on their new journey!
