Lauren Burnham Gives Update On Daughter, Shares Huge Surprise For Arie
Fans have been anxiously awaiting updates from Lauren Burnham Luyendyk and Arie Luyendyk Jr. on their twin daughter. While their son was able to be discharged from the hospital, their daughter had to remain in the NICU. Lauren and Arie had been going to spend time with her while also trying to rest and spend time at home. Lauren has been missing from social media a lot since her c-section. Today, she went to Instagram Stories to share an update on their baby girl.

Lauren Burnham Luyendyk went to Instagram Saturday to share an update on their daughter. She first said she was sorry she has been away from social media. However, Lauren noted she needed some time and privacy to deal with their daughter being in NICU and also just handling postpartum hormones. What she said next will make fans very happy.
When Lauren went to visit their daughter in the hospital, the doctor had a big surprise for her. The doctor told her their daughter would be going home with her today. Lauren was shocked and ecstatic. Plus, Lauren was able to surprise Arie. He had no idea and Lauren took her home. Finally, they are a family of five. She shared another video of them at home. Their son, Lux, was sleeping in a bassinet near Arie. Baby girl was being snuggled by one of their grandparents.

The twins were born June 11 via c-section. Lauren and Arie welcomed a son and a daughter. While their son was able to join them at home with Alessi, their daughter had to stay a few extra days. They finally took her home today. However, the couple has not yet released her name. Based on pics from their baby shower, fans can expect her name to begin with the letter S.
The twins are rainbow babies following Lauren’s miscarriage in May of 2020. She struggled with her loss for quite some time. In late 2020 Arie and Lauren announced they were pregnant with twins. She had a fairly easy pregnancy. In fact, she once said it was easier with the twins than with their first daughter.
Alessi has been doing great with her little brother Lux. Now, they will get to see her interact with both her sister and her brother. A photo of the three children is below.
