‘Welcome To Plathville’ Season 3 Premiere Date & What To Expect
Welcome to Plathville fans, it’s time to get excited because the Plaths are back for Season 3! TLC recently renewed the show, and now, more details about the upcoming premiere are available. So, when will the show officially return, and what can viewers expect from the new season?
When does Welcome to Plathville Season 3 premiere?
The new season of the show will air on August 24 on TLC. Episodes will also be available to stream on the TLC Go app and discovery+.
As we previously reported, the Plath family was spotted filming out in public recently. This leak came before the season’s renewal was announced publicly. Before this, it was unclear whether the show would be renewed. Originally, Olivia Plath no longer wanted to be a part of the show, but TLC only agreed to do the show if she and Ethan were on board. So, it looks like they changed their minds.
A handful of other shows were renewed as well and will premiere later this year. TLC fans can look forward to the returns of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, My Feet Are Killing Me, Dr. Pimple Popper, Say Yes to the Dress, and Darcey & Stacey.
What to expect
As Season 2 came to an end, Ethan faced his father Barry and things got pretty physical. Their relationship is definitely in a complicated place, so the new season may feature the family navigating that some more. Plus, the older kids who have moved out are separated from their younger siblings.
The season’s synopsis reads, “This season, the older kids are still on their own journey to self-discovery but while some Plaths want to make amends with their parents and continue to see their siblings, that’s not the case for everyone Tensions continue to rise, marriages are tested and new love is blossoming in this all new season.”
Moriah is currently in a pretty serious relationship with her boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt. Ethan and Olivia may be facing some marriage difficulties, as mentioned in the synopsis. Of course, there are probably plenty more surprises right around the corner. It’s sure to be another dramatic season.
