‘Teen Mom 2‘ Alum Chelsea DeBoer Adds New Family Members: Photo
Teen Mom 2 alum Chelsea Houska DeBoer has expanded her family once again – and this time, it’s growing by two more! Currently, Chelsea has four kids, Aubree, 10, Watson, 3, Layne, 2, and Walker, 5 months. So, who are the new additions to their family?
Chelsea DeBoer introduces new family members
In a new Instagram post this weekend, Chelsea wrote, “The newest DeBoers, Nelson & Steve.” She adds that they are Highland cows and shared a series of four photos of the two cows outside. . The two little calves still look pretty young, but fans in the comments pointed out that they are not mini cows because mini cows aren’t real. They will be full-sized cows before long.
Since they are named Nelson and Steve, it’s safe to assume that they are male calves. Full-sized male Highland cows can weigh up to 1,800 pounds. According to Highland Titles, Highland cows have good temperaments and rarely get into fights. Some people refer to them as “gentle giants.” So, it sounds like they will be a good addition to a homestead with young kids around.

In the comments section of Chelsea’s post, fans are chatting about how adorable they think the calves are. Here’s what fans are saying:

- “We need one!”
- “My dream!”
- “I’m obsessed.”
It seems like the two little calves are a huge hit with fans, and they hope to see more photos of them as they grow up. They’re sure the kids are thrilled about the newest additions to the family too.
Some fans are wondering whether she named the cows after DJ Tanner’s boyfriends in Full House. On the show, the eldest Tanner daughter, played by Candace Cameron Bure, had boyfriends named both Steve and Nelson. So far, Chelsea hasn’t responded to the questions, but fans are eager to find out.
Other fans are worried that the family may be raising these baby calves to eat them. Chelsea isn’t answering those questions either though.
