Netflix’s ‘Snabba Cash’ Season 2: Renewed Or Canceled?

Swedish Crime TV Show Snabba Cash gets Season 2 Netflix nod
For Netflix bingers looking for something new to watch, Snabba Cash just might be the series for them. Netflix describes the Crimes TV Show in just one sentence on their website. “The lives of an ambitious businesswoman, a charming gange enforcer and a troubled teen collide amidst a desperate – and sinister – pursuit of wealth.” The show was created by Jens Lapidus, Oskar Söderlund, and Jesper Ganslandt. Additionally, Snabba Cash stars Evin Ahmad, Alexander Abdallah, and Ali Alarik.

However, something to take into account is that there might be some cultural differences. This is because the series does well in its home countries and other Nordic countries. Interestingly enough, it failed to make the top 10 in the US, UK, Canadian, or Australian markets for some reason, reports What’s On Netflix.
There is good news for fans of the Swedish thriller Snabba Cash. It is renewed for a second season in 2022. One of the creators, Oskar Söderlund, says the following about the show’s Season 2 renewal. “The work with Season 1 had a lot of fun teamwork and to be able to return to our characters, the team and actors who work with the project feels fantastic. I am very proud of Season 1 but now we will do something even better.”

Netflix seems to have a market for Swedish series
Interestingly enough What’s On Netflix’s report makes it seem like there’s a niche viewing of Swedish series. They report that Love & Anarchy returns to Netflix in 2022 for its second season. However, a third Swedish series Quicksand hasn’t announced its renewal yet.
What’s On Netflix also announces Anxious People, Young Royals, Clark, The Unlikely Murder and Untold.
