Hannah Brown Isn’t Only Bachelor Nation Alum Looking For Love On ‘Celebrity Dating Game’

ABC is rebooting the classic Celebrity Dating Game show with a mixed bag of celebrities. The star-studded contestants include singer Iggy Azalea and former teen heartthrob Joey Lawrence. Two Bachelor Nation alums are also slated to look for love on the new dating show. Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown has been heavily advertised in the promos, while the other has stayed under the radar. Who is it?

Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown Looking for Love?

Is Hannah Brown unlucky when it comes to love? She didn’t have much luck finding her forever while appearing on Bachelor Nation shows. She was a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. Colton Underwood publicly came out as gay earlier this year.

Her popularity on The Bachelor led to her being cast as the next Bachelorette. Despite having 30 suitors, Hannah Brown didn’t find lasting love. Her engagement to her final rose pick, Jed Wyatt, ended shortly after filming.

She remained single for some time after The Bachelorette. Her friendship with Tyler Cameron sparked dating rumors, but they both denied the rumors. She began dating model Adam Woolard earlier this year.

So why is she on a celebrity dating show? The show was filmed prior to her new relationship. Hannah Brown isn’t the only Bachelor Nation alum appearing on the show. Coincidentally, the other alum also once pursued Colton Underwood.

Another Bachelor Nation Alum Appearing on The Celebrity Dating Game

Hannah Brown won’t be the only face familiar to Bachelor Nation fans. Former Bachelor contestant Demi Burnett will also appear on The Celebrity Dating Game. Like Hannah Brown, Burnett was a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor.

She returned to the franchise for Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. But she wasn’t pursuing a man. The show reunited Demi Burnett with Kristian Haggerty, the woman she had been dating before BiP.

Haggerty and Burnett actually got engaged at the end of the season. Sadly, they split in 2019. Demi Burnett was the first openly bi contestant in the franchise’s history. Will she be the last LGBTQ contestant? Fans of the show are rooting for ABC to bring Colton Underwood back as the first gay Bachelor.

Are These Other Celeb Contestants Hoping for a Career Boost?

The full list of celebrities appearing on the dating show is a mish-mash of current stars and, for lack of a better word, has-beens.

Popular ‘90’s crooner Michael Bolton will co-host the show alongside The New Girl’s Zooey Deschanel.

Former MTV starlet and Playboy model Carmen Electra is among the cast list. Entertainment Weekly also lists former Blossom actor Joey Lawrence and comedian Margaret Cho as contestants. Margaret Cho rose to fame in the ‘80s but seems to be having a career resurgence at the moment. She recently guest-starred on Freeform’s Good Trouble.

Perhaps the most surprising “Where Have They Been??” name is former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan. Other celebrity contestants include Taye Diggs, Nicole Byer, and Carson Kressley.
