‘Too Large’ Meghan Makes Shocking Progress In Her Journey
TLC’s latest super-sized show, Too Large is available for streaming on discovery +. Fans of My 600-Lb. Life and 1000-Lb. Sisters are likely to enjoy this show too. It follows the weight loss journey of seven people who need to lose weight to save their lives. Not only that but there is an added bonus of seeing a familiar face from 1000-Lb. Sisters. That’s right! The doctor behind the weight loss journey is none other than Amy and Tammy Slaton’s doctor, Dr. Procter. It looks like Dr. Procter has a success story in Meghan. Too Large: Where Are They Now Meghan has a major update.
Now, discovery + is airing Too Large: Where Are They Now. In hindsight, it’s funny to think about how worried Meghan was about losing weight so that she could get approval for weight loss surgery. At the beginning of the series, Meghan weighs in around 500 pounds. So, Dr. Procter gives her a 20-lb weight loss goal. To say she crushes it would be an understatement. Meghan sets her sights on losing 40 pounds and nails it!
From the looks of the latest trailer for Too Large, Meghan doesn’t stop losing weight once she gets the surgery. There are obvious signs that Meghan has a better quality of life now. For starters, she isn’t on oxygen anymore. Viewers also recognize that Meghan’s face is slim.

Meghan gets vulnerable about what it’s like buying clothes since weight loss
In the trailer, Meghan discusses what it is like to buy clothes. A new dress arrives in the mail and Meghan has a whole host of fears about it. “I think my biggest fear with a dress is I have so many places I want to hide and I don’t like. Side boobs, here!”
While Meghan is putting on the dress, she shares some of her insecurities. She points out all of her extra skin from weight loss. Notably, she makes it seem like she’ll continue to have bagging skin since she is still losing weight. However, she says, she’s going to learn to love her new body.
At the conclusion of the trailer, Meghan debuts her new dress in front of her fiance, Jon. She is glowing and appears to have so much confidence. It definitely helps that viewers can tell that Jon absolutely adores her.
