See The ‘Love After Lockup’ New EXPLOSIVE Season Trailer
Love After Lockup on WEtv looks interesting in the new season with six new couples. Mind you, some of the characters seem rather unlikely, so possibly they break up and some scenes of the old cast replace them. One of those dudes is an old guy and in the explosive trailer, he sounds like he should rather be on Lifetime’s Marrying Millions. Actually, this might end up the best season yet with characters like Courtney and Josh as well.
Love After Lockup new season trailer reveals an interesting season
The trailer that dropped this weekend mainly shows the new couples in the show. Lacey Whitlow, last seen in the two-part season 3 finale in March, talked a bit about the new season in early April this year. She recently welcomed her baby, Summer Rayne. However, it’s not clear that she returns. Even if she doesn’t, plenty of new cast members certainly look set to bring loads of entertainment.
The new season of Love After Lockup brings Courtney and Josh. In the trailer, she said that she worked as a “corrections officer” when she met and fell in love with Josh. Not inexperienced in her field of work, she held the rank of lieutenant. Throwing caution to the wind, she broke the rules and ended up fired from her job. In fact, she also ended up behind bars for it and even married Josh while a prisoner herself. So that brings something new to the WEtv show.
The millionaire who falls in love with a scammer
New to Love After Lockup is a millionaire. He’s the one who seems a bit better suited to Marrying Millions. Stan’s no spring chicken and managed to fall in love with Lisa. In the teaser, he talks about his scammer lover-to-be. He said that as she sits in jail she isn’t “scamming anyone” now. Yeah right, let’s see what happens with that one. Stan is an old retired millionaire who tries acting younger than he is with his toupee.
When his wife died in 2012 he started looking for another wife, preferably a young one. People Magazine noted that Stan and Lisa met in 2017 on a dating site, Seeking Arrangements.” Additionally, they only met in person “once before Lisa got locked up.” Reconnecting while she stayed in jail, they fell in love, and yeah, the family seem highly suspicious about her. Other couples are Anissa and Jeffrey and Jeffrey seems rather elusive as he claimed his release was delayed several times.
Other new cast members
The remaining new cast members on the new season of Love After Lockup include Britney and Ray. In the trailer, her mom seems convinced that the inmate will cheat on her. Then, Rachel and Doug face similar problems. He married her while in jail and can’t wait to get down and do the deed in bed. Finally, Daonte and Nicolle seem incompatible, He already fell in love with another inmate. However, she sounds like a bit of a wild child and he seems unlikely to hold her interest for very long.
