Meet The Newest Addition To The ‘Bringing Up Bates’ Family
There’s a new member of the family for Bringing Up Bates fans to get to know! On Saturday, the family grew by one more.
Lawson Bates introduces new family member
On Instagram, Lawson shared two new photos and wrote, “Meet the newest member of the fam.”
He continues, “This poor fella got nicked by a car while crossing the road, so we brought him home to make sure he was OK and are keeping him for a short time to make sure he is healing before releasing.”
Then, he adds, “Necessary PSA: Do NOT attempt to pick up a snake in the wild for any reason if you are not very familiar with the region you’re in, the different kinds of snakes in it, and also have knowledge of how to handle them safely. Never attempt to catch or hold a poisonous snake.
Black rat snakes like this one are typically very docile if handled properly and are not poisonous at all. They will not hurt you, and should not be killed or harmed.”
While fans are admiring Lawson’s kindness, they aren’t huge fans of the snake in the pictures. They think it’s great he’s helping this snake, and they appreciate the update.
Bringing Up Bates family continues to grow this year
Several new humans will be joining the family in 2021. There are a few pregnant family members, as well as a wedding in the works. Fans are excited to get to see as the family expands throughout this year.
The pregnant women in the family include Josie Bates Balka, Whitney Bates, and Tori Bates Smith. All three of them are due in June. It’s possible that another woman will be pregnant soon, but no one has made an announcement yet. Carlin Bates Stewart has been hinting that she’s got baby fever, but she hasn’t shared whether she’s actually pregnant yet.
Katie Bates and Travis Clark are going to get married in December, so he will officially join the family then. Nathan Bates and Lawson are both in serious relationships with their girlfriends, and fans suspect that they may be engaged or married very soon.
