High School Musical fans rejoice as Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu reunite for a Lifetime Christmas movie
High School Musical fans have something to look forward to this Christmas. Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu will star in Lifetime’s upcoming Christmas moving. E!News even captions the photo with, “Chad & Taylor 4ever.” That’s not the only High School Musical related comment on the photo. One of the comments reads, “Alexa play ‘We’re all in this together’.”
Not only does the post include a flashback photo of Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu, but it also has what appears to be a still shot from the upcoming Lifetime Christmas movie. Coleman captions the first photo with “How it started” and the next with “How it’s going.” Notably, several fans point out that Monique Coleman hasn’t aged.

Even the director of High School Musical, Kenny Ortega is excited for this reunion. In his excitement, he writes, “What a great Christmas present for us all!!!” Even Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu are excited. “This has been the hardest secret to keep!!! Starring in @lifetimetv Christmas has always been a dream of mine, but never in a million years did I think I’d get [to] share the screen with one [of] my best friends!!! @corbinbleu & I are SO excited to join the #ItsAWonderfulLifetime this winter in #AChristmasDanceReunion.”

In an article by E!Online, they give all the details. The Lifetime Christmas movie is called A Christmas Dance Reunion. The article describes Coleman and Bleu’s characters as a “will-they-won’t-they couple who will inevitably kiss under some mistletoe at some point in the film.”

In A Christmas Dance Reunion, Monique plays Lucy. Lucy is a lawyer that goes home to celebrate the final Christmas at the local hotel. As to be expected, Lucy runs into an old flame, Barrett (Corbin). Not only is Barret a love interest, but her former dance partner. E!Online calls it “a holiday celebration they’ll both never forget.”
