Deon Derrico Promises ‘DDWTD’ Fans An Emotional Season 2
Deon Derrico seems so excited about Season 2 of Doubling Down with the Derricos on TLC. Actually, he hinted some time back that it returns. Since then, a trailer dropped for the show. Then, during Little People, Big World, an ad for DDWTD appeared and Deon shared it. He promised fans an emotional season and shouted out his mom, Marian, aka GG.

In Season one of Doubling Down with the Derricos, fans quickly took to Marian. In fact, grandma GG became an instant hit. Fans adored the way she stepped in and selflessly helped with all the kids. That came when the doctor said he wanted Karen in the hospital as she carried triplets. Clearly, all the kids in the massive family adore their grandma. Soon, fans also adored her and they said many nice things about Deon’s mom on social media. Now, it seems that she steps up again for the family in Season 2. So, Deon gave his mom a shoutout.
‘Doubling Down With The Derricos’: Grandma GG Instant Hit With Fans
When the trailer for Season 2 dropped in April, fans saw that Deon Derrico and his mom chipped in their ideas about more kids. Recall, they already raise 14 of them. The trailer revealed that Karen missed her monthly date and GG felt a few more kids wouldn’t hurt. After all, what’s a few more? Mind you, Deon seemed less enthusiastic. Fans also saw that their son Diez ended up diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis. The serious condition means that the kid faces possible brain surgery. Maybe that is why Deon promised an emotional season.

It looks like Deon Derrico screenshot the ad for his show during Little People, Big World this week. He shared a photo that showed his mom comforting him as a tear ran down his face. In his caption, the TLC star said, “this pic says it all… we all need the love of our family!” Next, he said to his mom, “Thank you Ma @marian.derrico for always being the best parent/mother!”
Deon Derrico also thanked God for the “many blessings” that she gives him. Additionally, he claimed this mom’s his “first love,” and a great “GG.” After that, he told his fans, the new season brings “sooo many emotions.” So, he urged fans to remember to tune in and watch it.
Fans reacted to the post and many of them said they love GG. Others commented on how much they look forward to season2 of Doubling Down with the Derricos. One of them said, “Beautiful!! Your Mom raised a wonderful man. Terrific husband and great Father.”
