Olivia Plath Shows Fans She’s Just Like Them
Olivia Plath of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville shared a totally relatable post on Instagram recently. In the Instagram Reel, the TLC star gives fans a peek at how she sometimes gets ready for the day. She writes, “I swear every girl has done this at least once after a warm, relaxing shower.”
In the video, she lays down on the bed in her towel after her shower. Then, “20 minutes later,” she remembers she has somewhere to be and rushes through her routine. She blow-dries her hair, throws on some makeup, and changes her clothes. At the end of the video, she checks out her makeup and hair. She writes, “Admiring that fast makeup job + beautiful blowout … only to realize you’re almost late.”
It looks like she recorded the video in a hotel room. Since Olivia is a wedding photographer, she often travels to take people’s photos all over the United States.

Of course, plenty of Olivia’s followers have done the same thing themselves. In the comments section of her post, they are talking about how relatable the video is. One writes, “Yup. I lay in bed for a whole thirty minutes and then frantically try to get ready in 10. Every time.” Another adds, “Omg this was ALWAYS me in high school! 😂 I don’t let myself do this anymore lol.” Someone else comments, “yesssss I’ve mastered the 7 minute look 🤣🤣”

In the caption, Olivia adds, “And NO, I don’t think I’ll be going back to blonde anytime soon, thank you 🤣 I fall more in love with my copper hair every day 🥺” Back in February, the TLC star debuted her reddish hair on Instagram. In that post, she wrote, “Not sure how long I’ll keep up with this, but for right now I’m living my childhood dream of having red hair ☺️”
Well, it looks like it’s lasting longer than she thought it would and she still loves it. You can see her new video here.
