‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Season 3: Release Date, Trailer, Cast, & More
After Season 2 pulled in an incredibly high number of viewers, TLC wasted no time renewing 1000-Lb. Sisters for Season 3.
Considering how large the show’s fan base is, it isn’t too surprising that viewers are itching to know more about the future of the show. In fact, fans are currently searching for information on the Season 3 release date, cast, and whether an official trailer exists yet. How much do we really know about the next installment in this TLC series?
Unfortunately, the truth is we probably don’t know as much as fans wish they knew about 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3.
1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3 Cast
Fortunately, it is safe to assume the next installment in this TLC series is going to look mostly the same as far as cast members are concerned. Thanks to how active this reality TV family is in fan groups on Facebook, we know Amy, Tammy, and Chris will all return for Season 3. Likewise, this means fans can expect baby Gage and Michael to be a part of Season 3 as well.
Now, there is one person who probably won’t return to be a part of the 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3 cast. Fans learned Jerry Sykes and Tammy Slaton broke up during the Season 2 Finale. While fans didn’t want to see Tammy heartbroken, they were not too bothered by the end of this relationship. Most fans agreed Jerry Sykes was NOT the right guy for Tammy. Given his history with several cast members of My 600-Lb. Life, fans believe he is just a clout chaser. Likewise, they question if he had Tammy’s best interests at heart.
Moreover, Tammy Slaton’s TikTok activity as of late suggests she has a new man in her life. While some are speculating this is just another clout chaser… Perhaps he will make an appearance in Season 3 as a new 1000-Lb. Sisters cast member.
Has TLC Announced A Release Date Yet?
Presently, 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3 does not have a release date. According to Looper, there is a chance we could see a release date during the winter of this year. This really depends on whether they have already entered the production process with the show. Worst comes to worst, fans can expect a release date during the earlier portion of 2022. Unfortunately, there really isn’t any clearer information on a release date at this point in time.
Likewise, we also don’t know if new episodes of 1000-Lb. Sisters will drop on discovery+ the same way they did during Season 2. The streaming service has been pretty inconsistent about dropping some shows in the day they air while holding some until after the entire season airs.
1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3 Trailer
Now, if you do a search on YouTube you’ll probably find a 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3 trailer. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean you will find the real thing. In fact, at the time this article was published, TLC had yet to release a trailer for Season 3. So, fans really don’t know what to expect from the next installment. Will we see Tammy Slaton finally start to lose weight or will she continue to gain weight?
Truthfully, many fans are frustrated with Tammy and would love to see more focus on Amy, Michael, and their beautiful baby boy. Likewise, fans would also love to see Chris Combs continue his progress with weight loss too.

I agree with everything you wrote except 1 thing. Can’t the producers or whoever make decisions for the show realize the fans enjoy even when they (the Girls) use their cameras-during Covid. I will watch them anytime! ASAP please. I smile every time I watch them!
One last idea- Can’t the Production Company buy a great Van for
Amy, Tammy, and Chris to use. Especially comfortably large and safe for Tammy. Those clips of her squeezing into other vans is sad to watch her almost being tortured!!
