Josh Duggar’s Aunt Deanna Responds Harshly To Child Porn Allegations
Several of the Duggar family members have spoken out about Josh’s recent arrest, but now his aunt Deanna has something to say. On Instagram, she shared a post that reads, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were put around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.”
In her caption, Jim Bob Duggar’s sister writes, “This is what my Bible says!!!” Deanna’s daughter, Amy King, writes, “AMEN!” in response to the post.
Due to the nature of the new post from Deanna, most of her followers believe that it’s about Josh’s recent arrest and the allegations against him. As some of Deanna’s followers took this post the wrong way and apparently thought she was wishing death on her nephew, she cleared things up. In a separate comment, she says, “Hey I am just quoting what the Bible says! God Almighty says this is very, very serious!!! No I don’t want anyone to die! But I do want the Truth to be revealed!!!!🙏🙏🙏”
Her followers are saying that they stand with her and Amy, as well as anyone else who’s a victim of Josh. It seems like Deanna is getting lots of support, and many people agree with the statements she’s sharing.
Deanna Duggar continues sharing scripture amid arrest, hearings
Since Josh’s arrest, Deanna has been pretty active on social media. Jim Bob’s sister has shared several scripture verses that seem to be directed at Josh. She shared a verse about confessing our sins, pointing out that “It has to be ‘true confession.'” It’s possible that she hopes Josh confesses to what he’s been arrested for. It doesn’t seem like she wants him to be forgiven but rather that she wants him to be honest about what he’s done. So far, he’s pleaded not guilty to all of these allegations against him.
In the comments sections of Deanna’s recent posts, it seems that her followers feel that these posts are made for her family. It’s unclear if they will read them or get the message, though.
