Josh Duggar Arrested By Feds: Flashes Odd Smirk In Mugshot
On Thursday, April 29, TMZ confirmed that 33-year-old Josh Duggar has been arrested in Washington County, Arkansas. He is now in a detention center without bail. In his mug shot, which was obtained by TMZ, he has an odd smirk on his face.
It’s unclear what Josh was arrested for. He only has one public legal dispute right now. It’s a civil suit, which was filed due to real estate fraud. He has a rocky past though, so there may be more that the public doesn’t know about yet.
In November 2019, Homeland Security agents raided the car dealership where Josh worked. This was part of a larger federal probe. Since this was over a year ago, it’s unclear if the arrest is connected. He was previously involved in a molestation scandal as a teen. Sadly, a few of his sisters were his victims.
He was also using a site called Ashley Madison, which was known for helping people find affairs. After a data breach, it was revealed that he had multiple accounts on the site. This happened after he had gotten married to his wife, Anna Duggar. As we previously reported, Danica Dillon, a porn star, came out and said that Josh slept with her in 2015. She claimed that he tried to kill her and that he was aggressive.
From August 2015 to March 2016, Josh spent some time in rehab due to his porn addiction.

At this point, it’s unclear why the former TLC star was arrested in 2021. More details are yet to come. Because no bail has been posted, it seems like this is much more serious than real estate fraud.

As TV Shows Ace reported, Josh and Anna just announced that they are expecting their seventh child together. The couple has three daughters and three sons right now.
The newest baby girl is due to arrive this fall. On April 24, the family shared an updated family photo, as well as a gender reveal. Anna wrote, “We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!”
It’s unclear what’s next for Josh and his family. In an Instagram comment this week, Anna wrote that Josh is a “diligent” worker and that he does a good job of supporting the family. Things have changed quite a bit in the past few days though.
