Who is Esther Keyes?
According to Fandom, Esther Joy Keyes is one of 14 siblings. She is very close with her family. Her siblings have a variety of different lifestyles, some being Mennonite and others having children out of wedlock. So, it seems like Esther’s parents aren’t as strict as the Duggars, Bates, and other fundamentalist families.
Esther will turn 24 in October. Currently, she’s living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and works at Brickerville House Family Restaurant in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
Because Esther hasn’t been in the public eye like the Bates kids have, we don’t know a lot about her yet. Fortunately, it looks like Bringing Up Bates fans will get to know her on the show very soon. She’s been spotted in several clips from the new season.

Nathan Bates’ relationship
Nathan and Esther started dating on October 14, 2020, which was her 23rd birthday. The couple hasn’t shared too many details about their relationship, but that may be because more will be featured on the show. They might have to keep some parts of their relationship more private for this reason.
On Instagram, Esther and Nathan share photos with each other often. They recently went on a road trip together. In her caption, Esther wrote, “Back at the same place we went to with our siblings the day we met💞” Kelly Jo Bates, Nathan’s mom, teased, “Awww! Hope y’all have a whole bunch more memories there too!!! ❤️❤️”

Some fans think the couple might already be engaged. They do wear promise rings, which seems to confuse their social media followers. At one point, fans thought they had already tied the knot. If they are engaged, they are likely keeping it a secret due to the show. A proposal is a big deal and makes sense to be a part of the show.
