Wait, What?! Colton Underwood Getting Netflix Documentary??
A recent rumor began circulating social media that Netflix is planning a documentary with a very unlikely subject. Bachelor Nation alum Colton Underwood. What do we know about these wild rumors? What’s he been up to since his split with Cassie Randolph? Read on for more details.
Colton Underwood’s Infamous Fence Jump
Fans met the former football player during Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. He made it to the final four before getting the boot. He returned to the franchise for Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Colton Underwood didn’t find love in Paradise, but that wasn’t the end of his Bachelor Nation journey. He took on the lead role of The Bachelor in 2019.
Underwood famously jumped a fence in a tizzy over contestant Cassie Randolph’s departure. She left partly because her father didn’t give his blessing for an engagement. But she didn’t go far.
The Bachelor lead was convinced that Cassie Randolph was the one for him. So much so that he sent the remaining women – Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin – home. From there, he went to Cassie Randolph and pleaded his case.
It worked and the two dated for a little over a year. What happened next SHOCKED fans.
Eventual Break-Up & Stalking Allegations
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood were quarantining together. In fact, she nursed him back to health when he caught COVID after partying during lockdown.
Their split in May of 2020 seemed friendly. But a few months later, the shocking news came that Cassie Randolph had filed a restraining order against her ex. The restraining order was based on allegations of stalking and harassment.
She dropped the restraining order a month later.
He later detailed their break-up (minus the legal issues) in the paperback release of his memoir, Finding Myself and Looking for Love on Reality TV. Fans were divided over whether he was cashing in on the split.
Netflix Documentary Rumor
Following the public scandal, Colton Underwood deleted his Instagram. He returned to the social media platform two months later, but never posts on his main feed. Instead, he posts on Instagram Stories, where followers can’t leave comments.
But if rumors are to be believed, he may have some big news to share soon. Celebrity gossip site @deuxmoi got a surprising tip about the former Bachelor lead. An anonymous tipster claims that Underwood is teaming up with Netflix for a documentary.
About what is anyone’s guess. The streaming giant is facing backlash from Cassie Randolph supporters for their rumored collaboration with an alleged abuser.

Neither Netflix or Colton Underwood have commented on the documentary rumors.
Cassie Randolph has tried her best to move on from the drama. She’s living her best life on the beach, continuing her grad school studies.
