General Hospital spoilers suggest that Thursday’s episode will be an emotional one. It’s almost time for Alexis to begin her prison sentence at Pentonville, and she’s working through difficult goodbyes. Apparently, however, there’s a tidbit on the way that could spark some speculation.
Alexis Is Stuck On A Memory
The General Hospital sneak peek shared via Twitter shows that Alexis will meet with Kevin during the April 8 show. It appears that this will be a therapy session, and it’s certainly not a bad idea for Alexis to pursue such a thing before going to Pentonville.
At some point during this session, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Alexis will mention something that keeps coming back to her time and again, every time as if it’s the first time. The clip shows a flashback of a young girl on a stairwell, sitting as if she’s watching or listening to something happening down below.
‘General Hospital’ Teasers Hint This Memory Is Important
Alexis seems perplexed or concerned about this memory. It seems likely that this is of a young Alexis, at a time when she was perhaps 8 years old or so. What is this memory and why does it keep popping up in Alexis’ mind?

Ahead of Thursday’s special episode, actress Nancy Lee Grahn shared a few tidbits via Twitter. She included a screenshot from the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest that broke down what’s ahead. She teased that a new character will pop up during the show and that this is something important.
“I feel like this show is not so much about what Alexis discovers, but how that discovery and resolution will affect the heart of so many people who watch it,” Grahn teased.
Thursday’s episode is a tribute to Grahn’s 25 years with General Hospital. In a chat with TV Insider, the actress shared another intriguing tidbit.
“There’s something very poignant that happens at the end that will be very relatable. It serves the emotional well-being of the audience,” she noted.
Pentonville Scenes Are On The Way
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Alexis will still be seen after she heads to Pentonville. SheKnows Soaps indicates that next week, viewers will meet a prisoner named Maggie. She first pops up during Tuesday’s show, and by the end of the week, it seems that Alexis will feel comfortable confiding in her.
It’s also possible that Alexis will cross paths with one or two familiar faces. Jason is there now since the judge denied his bail, and Shawn Butler has been there for years.
Interestingly, General Hospital spoilers recently revealed that actor Sean Blakemore would soon reprise his role as Shawn. Viewers may remember that Shawn and Alexis had a thing years ago.
Alexis surely won’t end up really serving her full sentence, so General Hospital viewers will be quite curious to see how this storyline plays out.
