Krystal Nielson & Miles Bowles Welcome Baby After Long Labor
Krystal Nielson and Miles Bowles welcomed their new baby last night. The Bachelor in Paradise alum announced her pregnancy last year. The news came on the heels of Krystal announcing she and Chris Randone were divorcing. The reality star has been sharing details throughout her pregnancy with all her fans. After sharing last week the baby would be induced Tuesday, the moment is finally here!

People shared all the exclusive details about Krystal and Miles’s new daughter. Their daughter came into the world on March 31 in La Jolla, California, at 10:17 p.m. PT. She weighed 6 lbs. 3.5 oz and was 18 inches long. Krystal and Miles said, “She is a happy and calm baby and everything we dreamt she would be. We are still in awe of our little angel.”
No details about her name have yet been shared with the world.

Krystal in labor
The BIP alum and fitness coach documented her time heading to the hospital and while in labor. First on the agenda was to soften her cervix. A medication was inserted to do the job. However, the baby did not react well to the med. Krystal and Miles shared their daughter’s heartrate dipped into the 50s. They gave another medicine to Krystal to counteract the first drug. It brought everything back to normal.
Then, Krystal shared they inserted a Cook’s Balloon into her in order to help her cervix dilate to 4-6 cm. It worked and she was on her way. However, at one point she did need some oxygen and to lay on her side while laboring. It was nothing to worry too much about as the staff knew exactly what to do.
Finally, Miles updated fans letting them know her water broke.
She was in labor for nearly 24 hours.
Being pregnant
Krystal said previously she had been very anxious about being pregnant. The nerves were an issue especially since she was still going through a divorce. She said, It was scary finding out we were pregnant.” She continued, “Especially me still being legally tied in this marriage and having this whole public thing around it.”
Krystal and Miles found out they were having a baby just four months into their relationship.
Mom and baby are both doing great!
