‘My 600-lb Life:’ Chrystal Faces Challenges On Her Way To Houston

TLC, Chrystal Rollins - My 600 Lb Life

A new episode of My 600-lb Life airs on Wednesday, March 24. This episode focuses on Chrsystal Rollins. In the episode, she faces challenges as she makes her way to Houston, Texas to meet with Dr. Now.

On Wednesday, ahead of the show’s premiere, TLC released a couple of short clips from the episode. The clips feature Chrystal’s home life, as well as her travels to Houston.

At home, Chrystal reveals that her daughters have to take care of her. They cook for her and help her with all of her everyday tasks. She says that she can’t really stand for a minute, so she’s become dependent on the 12-year-old and 14-year-old girls.

The second clip includes the family on their way to Houston. When they arrive at the hotel, they find out they’ve been put in a room on the third floor when they were originally supposed to be on the first floor. Chrystal is concerned because she’s not a fan of elevators. She works up the courage to get on the elevator because she doesn’t have any other options.

As she gets out of the wheelchair and uses her cane to get into the elevator, she ends up getting hurt. She explains, “The elevator dropped down when I stepped in it.” In the clip, Chrystal is bleeding and adds that her finger is swelling up, but she doesn’t think it’s broken. She says, “The elevator almost killed me.”

As she finally enters her hotel room, Chrystal calls the hotel a “death trap.” Prior to hurting herself in the elevator, the My 600-lb Life star tripped in the parking lot.

Viewers will get to know Chrystal and then see how she makes the trip to Dr. Now.
