My 600-Lb Life star, Susan Farmer was one of those reality show stars that no one can forget. Severely obese and ready to get healthy, she went to Dr. Now to get help to shed pounds and get her life back. Susan did great on The Doctor’s program which has fans wondering, Where is she now? Did she continue to lose weight or did she give up and go back to eating high-calorie foods? Let’s take a look!

When Susan first decided to seek out Dr. Now’s expert help she was weighing in at a massive 607 pounds. She also suffered from lymphedema, high blood pressure, and pain from the crushing weight on her body. She admitted that she could hardly walk at one point and needed to sit at the grocery store every few minutes.  However, she wasn’t ready to give up and let the weight take her life!

Susan fights back

Needing expert help, Susan went to Houston to get help from Dr.Now. He put her on a strict low-calorie, high-protein diet and told her to increase her activity levels. Doing Dr. Now’s plan exactly the Texas native was approved for gastric bypass surgery. Therefore, Susan has had one of the most shocking weight loss journeys on the show. She was able to shed 407 pounds and tipped the scales at 200 lbs by the time she left the show. She managed to shed over two-thirds of her body weight.

Susan Farmer shows the world she can do it!

Susan still living in Texas, and in addition to making significant lifestyle changes, she underwent gastric bypass surgery to further help her weight-loss, as well as, surgery to remove her lymphoma. Ultimately, this has been life-changing for her! She appeared on The Where Are They Now episode where she told viewers that she lost a significant amount of weight and she had 46 pounds of excess skin removed from her body. This allowed her to reach her goal of putting on a pair of jeans for the first time since she attended high school. According to an article by The List.

She’s thankful to everyone for all the help and support

Thankful for all the words of encouragement, she thanks all of her supporters and friends that helped her. She was also very thankful to the woman that let her use their swimming pool to get in some much-needed exercise. What do you think of Susan and her new look?
