Friday’s ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dante’s Ready To Complete The Mission

Friday’s episode of General Hospital could be one that fans have been waiting a long time to see, according to the latest spoilers. Obrecht orchestrated a fake WSB mission where Dante would deal with Peter once-and-for-all, and the two men are about to begin what many hope will become a final confrontation.

Dante’s Prepared To Take Out Peter

During Thursday’s show, Dante sent Peter a text from Maxie’s phone. “She” said she wanted to meet her former fiance at Nathan’s gravesite, and Peter wasted no time in heading over there. When Peter arrived, assuming he’d get a chance to beg Maxie for forgiveness one more time, he found Dante waiting for him.

General Hospital spoilers from the preview for the March 19 show provided a hint regarding what comes next. The short clip shows Dante saying that he needs to complete the mission. It appears that he says this as he has his gun raised and aimed at Peter.

Could this finally be it? Will Dante shoot and kill Peter as Obrecht hopes? Unfortunately, General Hospital spoilers suggest that won’t be the case. At least, not quite yet.

‘General Hospital’ Teasers Hint That Sam Saves Peter

According to SheKnows Soaps, viewers will see Sam intervene in a situation during Friday’s show. In all likelihood, it’s this confrontation between Dante and Peter that the teaser is referencing.

Sam knew that Peter received a text from Maxie’s phone with the request to meet at Nathan’s grave. She tried to call Maxie but was unable to reach her since Dante had the phone. Given her desperation to keep Maxie and Peter apart, Sam may simply go to the cemetery and find Dante holding a gun on Peter.

Even though Sam despises Peter, she probably won’t let Dante simply kill him. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Peter will end up forming a partnership with someone, and given events from earlier in the week, that could mean Cyrus.

Peter’s On Borrowed Time

If Peter does end up able to count on Cyrus to protect him, it could be bad news for those General Hospital viewers hoping to see Peter gone. At this point, spoilers don’t detail anything more regarding Peter’s fate.

Obrecht surely will be upset to learn that Dante’s mission was interrupted and not completed. How much will Sam figure out regarding Dante’s mission and Obrecht’s involvement?

It certainly wouldn’t seem as if there’s any future for Peter in Port Charles. Maxie appears set in her decision to protect her baby girl and keep Peter at a distance, and he has no friends or allies other than potentially Cyrus. He may stick around hoping to take down Jason and anyone else he feels wronged him, but General Hospital spoilers suggest that he’ll likely end up unsuccessful.
