‘Sister Wives’ Fans Come To Janelle Brown For Medical Advice
Sister Wives Janelle Brown is unlike all of the other wives. Consequently, she has quite a fan base. Oftentimes fans dote on her as their “favorite sister wife”. Recently, fans of the TLC hit series express concern about a blemish above Janelle’s lip. Ultimately, Janelle gets the mark checked out and gets a diagnosis. She takes to her Instagram to let her fans know. It was a non-malignant form of skin cancer. However, it appears that Janelle is trying to turn this scary situation into something positive. To do so, she’s using Instagram and Twitter to raise awareness about skin cancer.
Sister Wives fans are comfortable coming to Janelle Brown for medical advice
Like Sister Wives Kody, Meri, and Robyn Brown, it appears that Janelle tweets along when new episodes of their show air. And from the looks of it, she is completely transparent with her fans. It’s almost like they sense that they will get a no-nonsense response from her and they respect her for that.

Recently, one fan Tweets Janelle a lengthy post. The fan begins with a friendly greeting. Then she goes right into soliciting medical advice from the Sister Wives star. After explaining her situation, she notes her concern came after seeing Janelle on the show and learning that Janelle had melanoma. The fan writes they were “wondering if I have the same issue.” In closing, the fan asks, “What kind of doctor do I need to see?”

Janelle proves to be a voice of reason
Seemingly, fans relate to Janelle Brown and trust her to give them good advice. However, it looks like Janelle airs on the side of caution when it comes to giving medical advice. Janelle gives a short, sweet, and to-the-point response. She tweets, “Talk to your primary doctor for a referral or I sought out a dermatologist.”
