This dream becomes a reality when she purchases Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. Becoming the sole owner of the inn wasn’t an easy feat, however, Meri perseveres and makes her dream come true. Sister Wives Meri Brown does what it takes to purchase her great-great-grandmother’s bed and breakfast
In an earlier season of Sister Wives Meri Brown, fans rejoice as she secures a loan to purchase Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. However, when it comes to the topic of the downpayment, it seems like Kody Brown is quick to put his foot down. At some point, the other wives gather $40,000 to help Meri. In the meantime, Meri sells her clothing line and makes $40,000. Ultimately, it doesn’t seem like Meri takes the money from the wives. Assumably because she wants to run the bed and breakfast on her own. Meri says, “This is my baby… Once I get this house done, I don’t want to have any more business meetings about my house. I want to run my business my way.” Apparently, one of Kody’s stipulations to helping her was that he would be on the Board of Directors.

About Lizzie’s Heritage Inn
Lizzie’s Heritage Inn is located at 94 North 100 East, Parowan, Utah 84761. Luckily for visitors, the inn’s website offers a destination guide. The website mentions that the bed and breakfast is “located in the gateway to some of the state’s most scenic attractions.” Some notable attractions include the Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Interestingly, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn is rich in history. The inn was built in 1870 by Charles and Sarah Adams. And excitingly, this year they are celebrating the sesquicentennial of the home. Their website mentions that Meri Brown is the “owner and the great-great-grandaughter of the original owners.” Additionally, in 2020, the Sister Wives star’s bed and breakfast celebrate its third year in a row as the “Best Country Inn.”
What to expect while staying at Meri Brown’s bed and breakfast
Fans interested in staying at Meri Brown’s Lizzie’s Heritage Inn have a choice of four rooms to reserve. The price per night ranges from $125 to $155. Each room is decorated with period furniture, however, there are modern bath accommodations. Guest rest their heads on “plump over-sized pillows, and antique four-poster beds.” The beds are made with “thick luxurious bed coverings.”
Notably, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn has 8 five-star reviews on TripAdvisor. And all eight of them are rave reviews. While fans may wonder if they’ll see Meri during their stay, it doesn’t seem like they will. Many of the reviews sing Bonnie’s praises. They also note that Bonnie is Meri’s mother.
