Is The Duggar Family Safe Amid Dangerous Weather Across U.S.?
People all over the United States are being hit with heavy amounts of snow and ice. Even in places that don’t usually have much of a winter season, the weather is intense. So, naturally, fans are worried about the Duggar family in Arkansas. And it seems to be for good reason. Even fellow TLC families, the Busbys in Texas and the Waldrops in Alabama are being hit hard.
So, is the Counting On family managing to stay safe amid the snowstorm? Let’s take a look at what they’re up to and whether they’re safe now.
According to reports, there’s a lot being affected by the snowstorms in Arkansas. The mail is being delayed, some Walmart locations are having to close, and energy companies are forcing outages to conserve power. So, all of this certainly makes things look pretty bad.
Duggar family provides an update
On social media this week, the Duggars shared a few updates. Different members of the family have posted on Instagram about the whole snowstorm. The family says that the temperatures are record lows. That’s what many people are experiencing right now in the U.S.
Jill Dillard talked about the forced outages. She said, “We were all so happy to get out for a walk and get some energy out of the boys! Power is still on, but our area has been having scheduled blackouts and asking people to conserve energy, so we’ll see how long it lasts!”
On social media, she documented her family getting outside and hanging out in the snow. They seemed to enjoy themselves. You can see their photos here.
On Wednesday, several members of the Duggar family went to the “big house” for a fun-filled day in the snow. They shared videos of the kids sledding. Jessa Seewald brought her son, Spurgeon, over to play with the other kids. Joy-Anna Forsyth brought her 2-year-old Gideon over too. And it looks like Anna Duggar’s kids got to hang out with their family members too.
So far, the family hasn’t shared any concerning updates about the weather. So, it seems like they’re staying safe. But they will likely provide an update if things get worse for them.
