OutDaughtered Kids Snow

OutDaughtered kids Blayke and the quints enjoy the snow in Houston at the moment. It doesn’t always snow there, so they make the most of it. Actually, it hasn’t been this cold there for about thirty years. And, some people are currently experience blackouts. Some TLC fans in Dallas complained about that. The weather really took a rough turn in the last few days.

Just over a week ago, Danielle Busby shared photos of the quints enjoying some playground fun. They looked okay with the weather and only wore light clothing so it wasn’t too cold. But, it looks like the whole climate changed in the last week. It’s doubtful they play on the slides for long with all the snow around this week. Adam Busby shared some photos of the kids all dressing up warmly so they could go and play in the snow.

The OutDaughtered kids wore mittens, several layers of jackets, and knitted woolen hats. Tagging the photo with League City, Houston, they definitely remain at home at the moment. Adam caption his post on Instagram with, “Gearing up to go play in the snow!” Lots of TLC fans hoped the kids enjoy themselves and have a blast in the snow. But, other people in Texas think it’s really too cold for much enjoyment.

Snowfall and bitter cold

The Houston Chronicle described the current weather as “historic.” It snows in Texas on occasion, but this time, “Houston has not seen weather this frigid for more than 30 years.” The “snow, sleet,” and “record-low temperatures” also bring many power blackouts across the state. Some TLC fans asked Adam Busby if he still has electricity in his home. While Adam never answered, one of the photos reveals the lights switched on. One fan asked, “You have power?! Lucky!!!.” And another one said, “We’re miserable up here in Dallas with the power outages 😫😫.”

The OutDaughetred kids might not stay outside for long though. Several fans commented that it take longer dressing up for the cold than the amount of time spent in the snow. Of course, it helps if heating stays on in the house. CNN reported that the frozen wind turbines contribute to the “rolling blackouts” in Texas. In fact, it feels so cold that some people huddle in their cars with the heater on.

There’s no guarantee that League City in Houston won’t experience a power blackout. The outlet noted, “the rotating outages could continue until the state’s weather emergency ends.”

Hopefully, if that happens to the OutDaugtered kids, Adam Busby makes a plan for some sort of heating in the house. Actually, Mayor Sylvester Turner warned Houston residents to expect more blackouts.
