Former Counting On star Derick Dillard is switching things up. With the help of his wife Jill Duggar, he got a whole new look.

On Monday, Jill posted a few pictures, revealing her husband’s new haircut. She says that she cut it herself. She writes, “✂️ Tried a new cut on my beau this weekend & im lovin’ it! He can totally pull off anything, I just wish the man bun didn’t take so long to grow back out! 😉🙃😍He might try a top knot if we let it get a little longer on top. 😎🥰”
In her post, she also includes a picture of his old hair. Derick’s hair used to be longer, so he put it in a man bun. Longtime Duggar fans might remember when his hair looked like this.

It looks like Jill isn’t the only one who’s a fan of Derick’s hair. In the comments section of Jill’s post, her followers are weighing in and saying how good Derick’s new haircut looks.
They think it suits him very well. They are also impressed with how well Jill did when it came to cutting her husband’s hair. A few fans even asked for a video tutorial.
Jill responded, saying she should have recorded a video for her followers. Maybe in the future, she will give fans a rundown of how she cut her husband’s hair.
About the man bun photos, one fan writes, “So I’m not typically a man bun person, but your hubby can pull it off! I actually like the look on him! 🙌🙌👍”
Duggar daughter Jill cuts her sons’ hair too
Israel and Samuel, the couple’s two sons, also get haircuts from their mom. Jill has shared photos of her boys before and after their haircuts. Jill hasn’t shared whether she cuts her own hair at home.
In the Duggar household, it’s common to do at-home haircuts. If you’re a longtime Duggar fan, you will recall the family’s motto to “buy used and safe the difference.” They are rather frugal, so they learned how to cut their hair at home. Though Jill and Derick are figuring things out for themselves and abandoning some of Jill’s parents’ practices, they’re hanging on to this one.
