Jeannie Mai Represents The More Nonchalant Super Bowl Viewers
Some people watch the Super Bowl for the game, others are just there for the snacks. Jeannie Mai recently threw a Super Bowl party of her own — and it’s clear what she and her friends were there for.
Jeannie Mai Is Just Here To Have A Good Time
The Real hostess and former Dancing With The Stars competitor recently posted a video during the big game. She and her friends are hanging out, surrounded by snacks and beverages. They’re all staring at their phones while the game visibly goes on behind them.
They scroll in silence for a few moments before Jeannie announces, “Guys, it’s in Tampa.” Her friends reply, “Oh.”
Let’s be honest — most of us have been Jeannie Mai at this moment at some point in our lives.
After the rough year Jeannie Mai had, she’s probably really thankful to just hang out with her friends and enjoy some good snacks.
After A Rough Year, Jeannie Just Wants To Unwind
The Real hostess had the amazing opportunity to compete on Dancing With The Stars last fall. She loved her time on the show, but she had to leave the competition early. She had a very serious health scare that prevented her from competing. Fortunately, she recovered quickly after emergency surgery and made it back in time for the season finale.
Jeannie went on a romantic vacation with her fiance, Jeezy, this year for her birthday. And honestly, she’s just really thankful to be alive and still be able to enjoy these things.
“This year is unlike any other year I’ve ever celebrated my birthday. It was an awakening year, one that made me recognize what it means to be truly GRATEFUL. Grateful for the little things that soothe my soul and mind..like making time to print pictures off my phone for my home, re-reading all the books that moved me as a child, (Flowers for Algernon..still an all-time fave), learning to dance and face my fears in front of America,” Jeannie said in an Instagram post.
So take a page out of Jeannie Mai’s book. You don’t have to actually watch the big game to still have a good time with friends.
So What’s Next?
Jeannie Mai previously said she would love to have a winter wedding. Now that there is a viable Coronavirus vaccine available, perhaps she and Jeezy can get married at the end of 2021. Jeannie said that she and Jeezy met in the wintertime, so it’s always been an important season for them.
Would you like Jeannie and Jeezy to get married this year? Let us know in the comments. How did you enjoy the Super Bowl this year? We would love to hear from you.
