Who Is H.E.R. Performing ‘America The Beautiful’ For Super Bowl
Many football fans across the country are wondering who the woman is performing the song “America The Beautiful.” Many are unfamiliar with her. So, here’s a look at H.E.R.
Who is H.E.R.
She is an up and coming star. H.E.R. is a 23-year-old singer from Vallejo, California. She released her breakthrough, self-titled compilation album in 2017. That release earned her Grammys for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album, according to Cleveland.com.
H.E.R. released a follow up compilation album in 2019. “I Used to Know Her” earned Grammy nominations for Album of the Year, as well as Song of the Year for the track “Hard Place.”
And, of course everyone wants to know what H.E.R. stands for. H.E.R. stands for Having Everything Revealed. Her real name is Gabriella Wilson. Her Grammy nomination streak continued this year. She earned three nominations including one for Song of the Year for the Black Lives Matter anthem “I Can’t Breathe.”
Many compare her to the phenomenon The Weeknd. The reason behind that is the way his character was such a mystery to his fans when he first started making music.
Although she remains a mystery to many of her friends she has still earned awards. Her album earned her platinum plaque for her debut.
Her latest song “Fight for You” will be featured on an upcoming soundtrack for the film “Judas and the Black Messiah.”

Many are waiting for the halftime show
Of course, many are excited for the halftime show. The Weeknd is set to perform and reportedly has no special guests to help him out. This is quite unusual. Usually, the lead performer has multiple guest artists to help them along. And, The Weeknd has reportedly spent more than $7 million of his own money to help fund his performance.
The show will feature many of The Weeknd’s hit songs. Some of the performance could feature some of his popular songs. These include, Wicked Games (2012)- Love Me Harder with Ariana Grande (2014)- Often (2014)- Earned It (2014)- The Hills (2015)- Can’t Feel My Face (2015)- In the Night (2015)- Starboy ft. Super Bowl LV features two amazing quarterbacks and teams. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
