Tamra Judge doesn’t believe that Bravo will fire Kelly Dodd from The Real Housewives of Orange County. Fans have been calling for her firing before the start of Season 15. Some assumed that word would have come out by now. So far, Bravo has been keeping quiet on moving forward with Kelly.
She first made controversy with her comments about the coronavirus pandemic. Then, her comments about race on the RHOC Season 15 reunion raised eyebrows. Fans were especially offended when Kelly screamed: “I’m a Black woman” out of nowhere. Since then, the cries for her firing have only been growing louder.
As for Tamra, she says she will “believe it when I see it.”
Why Tamra Judge doesn’t believe the firing rumors
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum doesn’t think Bravo will fire Kelly Dodd. Tamra Judge spoke exclusively to Us Weekly on Thursday, February 4. She thinks Bravo’s latest moves are confusing. She doesn’t understand why they insist on keeping Kelly around.
“I will believe that when I see that,” Tamra told Us Weekly. “I am very confused [about] what Bravo is thinking nowadays and what they think is good TV and who they think is a good cast member.” She continued, “I certainly know that she has rocked the boat many times when I was on the show … but I kind of feel like Kelly’s a tough one and everything just slides off of her. There’s never really been any real punishment for the things that she has done.”
But some fans think the network would have announced it by now. Sometimes, firings take place after the final episode of the reunion airs. But some former Housewives announced their exits within a month’s time. For example, Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp confirmed their exits just months after the RHOBH Season 10 reunion.
Did Kelly Dodd hint at leaving the show?
Last month, Kelly Dodd squashed the rumors that she was fired from the reality show. She blamed former RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson for stirring up the rumor in the first place. As fans recall, Kelly had a falling out with both Vicki and Tamra Judge in the previous season. But fans have a feeling that Kelly might have been quietly fired from the franchise.
Earlier this week, she made a change to her bio on Instagram. She previously called herself a “proud veteran castmember of #RHOC.” Her Instagram bio now reads “proud castmember of #RHOC.” This comes after Positive Beverage cut their ties with the blunt reality star.
Bravo exec Andy Cohen hinted that a cast shakeup could come to The Real Housewives of Orange County. But he didn’t specify which ones. In a tweet, he only hinted that some should get the “BOOT.” The tweet insinuates that firings could take place and the sixteenth season could have fresh faces.
