Reality Steve Reveals Surprising ‘Bachelorette’ 2021 Filming Location, Who Is The Lead?
As Matt James season of The Bachelor continues to air, production is gearing up to film The Bachelorette. Of course, things will still be different with the coronavirus pandemic still in full swing. Filming will take place once again exclusively at a resort. Cast and crew will all reside on set during filming, just as they did for Tayshia Adams and Matt James. For now, this is the new normal for The Bachelor franchise. And, Reality Steve has already confirmed the shocking location for the upcoming 2021 Bachelorette season.
The Bachelorette filming location confirmed
Reality Steve revealed The Bachelorette will be filmed in Canada. This is a first and seems a little tricky with travel restrictions. However, it has been confirmed. He even knows the resort name and location. The 2021 lead and her suitors will be filming at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta.
At first, Steve was not sure about the resort. However, within 30 minutes of his announcement they would film in Canada, it was confirmed. A news article from CBS Calgary shared the Jasper Park Lodge would be booked exclusively for nine weeks by a mystery guest. The booking begins February 23. This means the cast and crew will begin arriving at that time to quarantine and go through COVID testing.
The “mystery guest” will be enjoying the luxurious resort from February 23 through April 29, a total of 65 days. According to the report, those dates are blacked out and any existing reservations were cancelled. The resort is staying quiet about who their “mystery guest” is. They said, “We have a private booking during the below dates however, as we must always safeguard the privacy of our guests, we do not share details about hotel reservations, meetings, or private events.”
Steve says the crew will arrive first followed by the men arriving the first week of March. Filming will begin mid-March and continue through April.
Many stars have stayed at this amazing resort. Bing Crosby and Marilyn Monroe to name a few. Also, the resort is favored by the royal family, having hosted King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, in 1939, and Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 2005.
(SPOILER) Early speculation already in my DMs is that the resort for “Bachelorette” filming in Canada next season might be at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta. https://t.co/7DIpE0imDa

Who is the new lead?
ABC has yet to reveal who will be the next Bachelorette. Nothing is official, however, Reality Steve has some theories. Warning! A few spoilers ahead.
First of all, Steve says this does not mean the new Bachelorette will be Canadian. Nor does it mean the men will mostly be Canadian either. He goes on to say Michelle Young will not be the next lead. She reportedly makes it to the final two and he believes there is zero chance production will spoil their own season by announcing her early. The Bachelor finale will not air until March 15 or 16. So, who does this leave? Well, Steve also feels like Serena P. will not be a lead. Basically, it looks as if The Bachelorette could be either Bri, Abigail or Katie. Many fans have been pushing for both Abigail and Katie for different reasons.
So far, ABC exec Robert Mills has only said the new lead will be someone from within the franchise. Another name that has popped up as a possible contender is Kelley Flanagan. While that is highly unlikely, it’s a possibility. Some have even wondered if the franchise would give Clare Crawley another shot at finding love. However, that also looks highly unlikely. So, for now, the lead is still a mystery.
